Word is that a big show to kick off sales may happen in September 2025—maybe on September 9, with orders to buy it coming right after.



When to expect and how much it might cost

Apple may show the iPhone 17 set in the second week of September—maybe on September 9 or 10. They could take early orders by September 12 and start selling it from September 19.

Prices may go up by $50 for all items due to tariffs.

    In India, the top iPhone 17 Pro Max might sell for about ₹1,64,990 (~$1,499).

    The iPhone 17 Air could be priced in the middle, maybe from $899 to $1,299.

There's talk that in India, the basic model could start at ₹79,900, and Pro models at ₹1,45,000.



Key Features & Improvements(For All Models)

Screens: Every type comes with a 120 Hz ProMotion and LTPO OLED screen, great for smooth moves and a display that can stay on.

Memory: Pro types get 12 GB RAM, good for AI and doing many things at once; base and Air might start at 8 GB.

Selfie Camera: We look for a 24 MP front TrueDepth camera in every type, a big step up.

Wireless Charging: The word is faster wireless charging up to 45 W MagSafe (Qi 2.2).

Colors: Lots of new colors like green, purple, sky blue, papaya orange, and others to set each type apart.

Camera: Single 48 MP back lens; 24 MP front camera.

RAM: 8 GB RAM.

Storage: Likely 128 GB base.

SIM: Only eSIM; no actual SIM slot.


iPhone 17 Pro



Screen: 6.3-inch LTPO OLED with ProMotion and always-on.

Chip: Upgraded A19 Pro with a better GPU.

RAM: 12 GB.

Look: New “camera bar” with round edges, mixing glass and metal frame.

Camera: Maybe two or three 48 MP sensors, with telephoto zoom and LiDAR.


iPhone 17 Pro Max



Screen: Big 6.9-inch LTPO OLED with more brightness and better use of power.

Chip & Memory: Same upgraded A19 Pro with 12 GB RAM.

Battery: Bigger, maybe about 5,000 mAh; gets hot slower.

Camera: Setup with three lenses, including telephoto (maybe 5× zoom), LiDAR.
